The Link Between Manifestation and Your Brainwaves
Law of attraction devotees already know that our subconscious thoughts and beliefs are connected to our success. But many of us are unaware that the oscillating electrical impulses in our brain may also play a key part in our manifestations. Are you aware of the link between manifestation and brainwaves?
In recent years, many followers of the law of attraction are starting to believe that it is possible to align yourself to your intentions by using low frequency brainwaves. Through meditation and the use of brainwave entertainment tools, brainwave meditation is an alternative option for relaxation and entering a deeper state of consciousness. Read on to learn more about manifestation and brainwaves.

What You Need to Know about Brainwaves
Since the brain is an electrochemical organ, brainwaves are not a physical thing. It is a measurement of electrical activity within our brain. The brain houses a network of billions of nerve cells or neurons that communicate with each other, produce oscillating electrical voltage, and generate an overall electrical field. They are responsible for conveying information throughout our body in both chemical and electrical forms that are detectable using standard medical equipment such as electroencephalography (EEG).
Brainwaves work almost like musical notes and each brainwave stands for a particular activity. Thoughts and emotions are formed in this electric field and trigger different brainwaves. Some brainwaves can make a person tired and slow while others can make a person alert and active.
Scientists have identified five different kinds of brainwaves, ranging from low to high frequency. It is important to remember that brainwaves are not the source of our thoughts or experiences. Brainwaves are the detectable refection of processes occurring within the brain when we think, feel and act.
The Different Brainwaves:
- Gama Brainwaves (30-100Hz)
Gamma brainwaves are the fastest measurable brainwaves and are linked to higher mental activity. They are generated when you are learning new information or doing something that requires a lot of concentration and focus.
- Beta Brainwaves (14-40Hz)
You are experiencing beta brainwaves when you are wide awake and alert. These waves dominate your brain when you read, work and socialize. In this state, neurons fire abundantly as you direct your attention toward cognitive tasks and the outside world.
- Alpha Brainwaves (8-13Hz)
You experience alpha brainwaves when you go into a deeper state of mind. When the body and mind enter into a relaxed state and you visualize your future. When you attract the things you want, you use alpha waves.
- Theta Brainwaves (4-7.5Hz)
When highly experienced meditation practitioners get absorbed into deep meditation, theta brainwaves occur. Associated by chakra yoga experts with the “third eye,” our brain also enters the theta brainwave state when we dream in our sleep.
- Delta Brainwaves (0.5-4Hz)
Delta brainwaves are associated with the deepest stages of sleep. Delta is the state of healing and rejuvenation. It is also the gateway to the realm of the unconscious mind. Meditation experts enter into this realm when they are in a very deep, transcendental meditation.
Get Into the Alpha State in 5 Steps
Brainwave frequencies are involuntarily controlled by our autonomic nervous system. But anyone can train their body and mind to access the different brainwave states. When you train your mind to enter into a deep meditative state, you will be able to control your brainwave frequencies. You can reprogram your subconscious and unconscious mind when control your brainwaves. Here is a 5-step mediation exercise to attain the Alpha state.
Step 1: Prepare your mind for meditation. Start by taking a moment to allow the body to settle into a comfortable position. Keep your back straight and allow your shoulders to relax. Close your eyes.
Step 2: As the body starts to relax, notice how calm and gentle your breathing is. Notice the stillness of your body. Allow your mind to release all the tension as your breathing sets into a comfortable rhythm.
Step 3: Become aware of the gentle rise and fall of your chest with each inhale and exhale.
Step 4: Continue breathing normally. If thoughts come up, allow them to pass and bring your attention back to your breathing. There is no need to block or eliminate your thoughts.
Step 5: As you rest your attention to your breathing, try to notice any feeling or emotion that you are experiencing. Take note of the feeling or emotion, then let it go and return to focus on your breathing. You are feeling very calm now.
By this point, the activity of your brain would have slowed down below 13 cycles per second. This is the alpha brainwave state. You are now starting your journey of manifestation thru brainwaves.
Moving on to Delta
To move into a deeper state, continue to follow your breathing. Soon your mind will go beyond the movement of thoughts and expand to infinity. You will start to achieve the theta state. In this state, the mind will become aware of its infinite potential and you will be able to unlock a life of manifestation thru brainwaves.
